Meghan Markle and Prince Harry share sweet new photo of Archie for Prince Charles' birthday

Happy birthday, Prince Charles!

Yesterday the Prince of Wales turned 71 and in celebration of his father's special day, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took to Instagram to share a sweet birthday post, complete with a gift for their fans: A never-before-seen photo of their baby boy, Master Archie.

The black and white image - which was taken by Chris Allerton - shows the now six-month-old at his royal christening in July.

Harry is seen cradling his son in his arms, gazing proudly down at him, while Charles stands by his side looking lovingly at his youngest grandchild.

Alongside the beautiful photograph, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wrote: "Happy birthday to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales - Sir, Pa, Grandpa!"

Kate Middleton and Prince William also took to social media this morning to wish the future King a happy birthday.

Posting a touching photograph of Charles with Prince Louis, they wrote: "Wishing a very happy birthday to The Prince of Wales!"

The photo was part of a series taken to mark Charles’s milestone 70th last year.

Meanwhile, the Royal Family account also posted their own sweet snap of Charles with his father Prince Philip, wishing the royal a happy birthday.

The Prince is currently away on a tour of India in Mumbai, where he received a birthday present of bonsai fairy gardens from a group of Indian schoolchildren.
