Prince Harry has continually included tributes to his late mother in all his big milestones - and it seems his two-year-old son Archie is following in his footsteps ...

Speaking in the fifth episode of his AppleTV+ series, The Me You Can’t See, the Duke of Sussex revealed one of the young royal's first words was "grandma" for Princess Diana.

"I got a photo of her in his nursery, and it was one of the first words that he said - apart from "mama," "papa," it was then "grandma." Grandma Diana," Harry said.

"It's the sweetest thing, but at the same time, it makes me really sad because she should be here."

"I wish she could've met Meghan. I wish she was around for Archie."

The episode, which also featured previously unseen footage of Archie swinging on a bench alongside his father, saw the 36-year-old express his sadness that his mother never got to meet his wife, Meghan Markle, or son.

He said: "I wish she could've met Meghan. I wish she was around for Archie."

It has been 23 years since Diana died at the age of 36, when the car she was travelling in crashed in a Paris tunnel on August 31, 1997.

Harry was just 12-years-old.
