While the public has only been treated to a few rare glimpses of him, much to the delight of royal fans, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor made a rare appearance at the Jackson Hole 4th of July parade with his parents.

The notoriously-private Duke and Duchess of Sussex surprised onlookers by turning up to the patriotic bash in Wyoming with the three-year-old.

Images obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com show the young family sitting down on a sidewalk as they watch a two-hour procession of floats, tractors, cowboys and rodeo girls on horseback.

The toddler - who sucked on a red lollipop and clutched a miniature US flag - wore a patriotic outfit to the event, sporting a blue striped shirt, jeans, blue shoes and a California Republic cap.

Lilibet was not spotted at the July 4th celebration and it's not known whether she travelled with the trio to Wyoming.

It is not known who Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were visiting in picturesque Jackson Hole, a trendy ski resort town where Kanye West, Sandra Bullock and Harrison Ford own property, or how long they stayed in Jackson Hole.
