It has been a busy 12-month period for the royal family with not one, but THREE royal weddings; after Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank last October and Prince Harry wed Meghan Markle in May.

The daughter of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, Lady Gabriella Windsor, married Thomas Kingston overnight - occurring a day before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding anniversary - at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

As Lady Gabriella arrived at the chapel with her proud father in a Rolls Royce, the world got their first glimpse of the bride's dress - and wow, did she look beautiful.

The 38-year-old looked a vision in a modern white lace gown and a diamond-encrusted tiara.

Gabriella surprised everyone by wearing a wedding dress designed by Italian designer, Luisa Beccaria, as royal brides tend to opt for British fashion designers on their wedding day.

The stunning gown featured a fitted bodice, a generous neckline and full-length, sheer lace sleeves with embroidering.

Designed exclusively for the royal, she also wore a jaw-dropping six-metre veil, made from several layers of white tulle in the same shade as the dress, held together by small, hand-embroidered flowers.

Gabriella also wore a beautiful Russian fringe-style diamond tiara, which is known as the Kent City of London Fringe tiara and was worn by both her mother, Princess Michael of Kent, and her grandmother, Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent, on their wedding days.

Accessorising with delicate jewellery, Gabriella's makeup was flawlessly natural and she opted for a glamorous half-up, half-down hairstyle, teasing her blonde locks into intricate braids that were intertwined within loose curls.

The royal bride held a pale yellow bouquet of flowers.

The couple’s cake was made by the same baker, Fiona Cairns, who made Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding cake.

It featured three flavours: fruit cake, Victoria sponge, and lemon Limoncello sponge.

Isabella and Maud Windsor - Lady Gabriella's nieces - and the other bridesmaids wore cream dresses with blush underlays and sashes, with flower rings in their hair in a similar style to the bouquet.

The pageboys wore cream shirts and knickerbockers for the ceremony.

Prince Harry surprised royal watchers as he stepped out for the royal wedding, leaving wife Meghan and son Archie at home.

The 34-year-old was not expected to attend Gabriella’s big day after his baby was born less than two weeks ago.

But he joined a host of other royals for the family occasion, including the Duchess of York, Prince Andrew, and Princess Beatrice - who was joined by her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Noticeably missing were Kate Middleton and Prince William.

According to Harper’s BAZAAR UK, "Prince William is expected to attend the FA Cup Final later today, an essential part of his role as President of the Football Association."

The publication also assumed that the Duchess of Cambridge probably stayed home with her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

While there was no sign of the Duchess, her sister Pippa Matthews, parents Carole and Michael Middleton, and brother James Middleton and his girlfriend Alizee Thevenet attended.

Pippa was joined by her husband James Matthews, but they left their son Arthur, who was born last October, at home.

The Queen attended Gabriella's ceremony with Prince Philip at her side.

Gabriella is Her Majesty’s first cousin once removed.

Gabriella and Thomas got engaged back in August when the 40-year-old financier proposed on the Isle of Sark.

The wedding was a private affair, with no members of the public admitted.

There was also no carriage procession.

After the ceremony, the reception took place at Frogmore House.
