In celebration of their 30th anniversary next year, boyband the Backstreet Boys have announced a surprise show in London.

And while they're in the UK, they have their heart set on a recording a new song with one of Britain's biggest stars ...

The five-piece said that over the past three decades they have got to perform with everyone from Sir Elton John to Stevie Wonder and Shania Twain, but their ultimate collaboration would be with Adele.

Speaking to The Standard about their November show at the O2 Arena, member AJ McLean said he thinks the group could have a chance because Adele is also a fan of their music.

He said: "I do know that she’s a fan, but I have never actually met her."

The group - who last performed in the UK in 2019 - have sold 130 million records globally and are recognised as the best-selling boyband in history.
