The Chase fans have been left fuming after a contestant on a recent episode of the game show accepted an offer of minus £11,000 in a bid to make it to the final.
Facing off against chaser Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan, Jo managed to secure £2,000 to add to the pot in the cash builder round.
However, when she was offered -£11,000, £2,000 or £46,000 by the 39-year-old brainiac, Jo opted to knock 11 grand off her team's total, sacrificing the chance to win big money much to the shock of Bradley Walsh and viewers alike.
When she consulted her two remaining teammates, who had bagged £29,000, she was begged to not take the minus offer.
But she ignored the team's advice, leaving Walsh speechless as he just whistled in response.

One viewer fumed: "Taking a negative amount on The Chase is 100% scumbag behaviour."
A second insisted: "If I was on a team with such a person, I'd throw the game to prevent them from getting any money."
Another wrote: "I am f****** rattled after that episode. Will take the -£11k to get back then contribute one answer in the final which my dog could've got right. These people live amongst us."
In the end, The Chase contestants managed to outrun Ryan, who only managed to answer 14 questions to their 21.
The team managed to walk away with a respectable £6,000 each.
