Just three weeks ago, Kate Middleton dazzled in a show-stopping gold dress on the red carpet. And today, she's done it again, but this time on a green carpet.

All eyes were on the Duchess of Cambridge as she attended the first-ever Earthshot Prize Awards at the Alexandra Palace in London with her husband, Prince William.

Attendees were urged to 'dress sustainable' and encouraged to re-wear outfits.

Meeting the brief, the royal mum-of-three looked absolutely flawless in a beautiful custom pastel purple Alexander McQueen gown she recycled.

The floor-length Grecian-style gown - which was a bespoke piece made for the Duchess to wear to a BAFTA event in Los Angelos in 2011 - featured a gold belt to cinch the waist.

While Kate dazzled in the stunning gown, reportedly worth £4,290, Prince William also looked dapper in a green velvet suit over a black turtleneck.

The glittering event was organised by Prince William and The Royal Foundation and the winners will each receive £1million prize money to put towards their cutting-edge environmental solutions to repair our planet.

The ceremony also featured a star-studded list of performances and high-profile presenters, including Emma Watson, Emma Thompson, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay.
