Lady in red!

After arriving back in the U.K. following a short trip to the United States, Princess Kate turned heads last night as she stepped out in a sparkling red gown and the famed Lotus Flower Tiara at the reception for the Diplomatic Corps at Buckingham Palace.

For the event - which was hosted by King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla - the Princess of Wales looked absolutely flawless in a scarlet, long-sleeve evening gown by Jenny Packham with Queen Elizabeth II's Royal Family Order badge and the sash and star of the Royal Victorian Order.

She topped off her elegant look with the Lotus Flower Tiara, sometimes also called the "Papyrus Tiara," which originally belonged to King Charles' grandmother Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.

The Lotus Flower Tiara features an art deco design and is encrusted with diamonds and pearls.

The last reception for the Diplomatic Corps was hosted by Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace in December 2019.
