It has been a big year for royal weddings!

First, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018.

Then, six months later, Princess Eugenie walked down the same aisle to marry her finance, Jack Brooksbank, on October 12.

Most recently, Lady Gabriella Windsor married Thomas Kingston on May 18, again at St George’s Chapel.

And now, Monaco is preparing to celebrate their own royal wedding.

On Saturday 27 July, Grace Kelly and Rainier III, Prince of Monaco's grandson Louis Ducruet will tie the knot with his fiancée Marie Chevallier at the Monaco Cathedral.

Louis, who is the son of Monaco's Princess Stéphanie and her ex-husband Daniel Ducruet, met Marie seven years ago while attending SKEMA Business School in France together.

The pair got engaged in February 2018 when Louis proposed while they were in Vietnam.

The 26-year-old took to Instagram to announce the news, sharing a romantic picture of him on one knee in front of Marie at the Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai beach.

He captioned the photo: "Let me introduce you the future madam Ducruet she said yes and we are now engaged."

According to Hello magazine, the couple will marry in a private ceremony and the Monaco Cathedral was chosen because Louis wanted to be close to his grandfather, Prince Rainier III, who is buried there.

The guest list reportedly includes many senior members of Monaco's royal family, including the reigning Prince Albert and his wife Princess Charlene, Louis' mother Princess Stephanie and Princess Caroline.

His sister Pauline Ducruet and half-sister Camille Gottlieb are also expected to attend the nuptials.

Louis is currently 15th in line to the Monegasque throne.
