Congratulations are in order for the Queen's granddaughter Zara Tindall!

The 39-year-old Olympian and her husband, former rugby player Mike Tindall, have welcomed their third child into the world.

Lucas Philip Tindall was born at home on Sunday, weighing in at 8lb 4oz, a representative for the couple said.

Mike - who also has daughters Mia Grace Tindall, seven, and Lena Elizabeth Tindall, two, with Zara - also announced the news on his podcast, The Good, The Bad & The Rugby.

During the podcast, he revealed Lucas was born on the bathroom floor after the couple were unable to get to a hospital in time, saying: "Arrived very quickly, didn't make it to hospital, on the bathroom floor!

"Fortunately Zara's friend Dolly is ... she's actually more important than I am at making sure she's been at all three of my children's births.

"She was there and recognised that we wouldn't have got to the hospital in time, so it was run into the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, towels down, brace brace brace!"

The tot's middle name is in honour of both Mike Tindall's father as well as Zara's grandfather, Prince Philip.

He is 22nd in line to the throne, but won't take a royal title.

In December 2016, the couple revealed they had suffered a miscarriage and two years later, Zara admitted to suffering a second miscarriage before falling pregnant with Lena.

Congratulations Zara and Mike!
